TOTLB 017 Drilling the night away

From deep within nature we bring you the 17th installment of the Thinking Outside the Long Box podcast!!
It was a beautiful day in Colorado (rare at this point) and we decided, what better way to enjoy it, than to record outside!! We talk about all of the awesome comic book happenings that have occurred while Jon was away being a success! Also, a drill almost takes down production of this episode, in one of the most “you had to have been there” moments of this shows short history!!
We bring you TWO very special interviews for this episode!! The first comes from Scott, Sara, & Tyler! They bring you Hank Steiner: Monster Detective! It’s a comic book bringing you the awesome tales of a “Frankenstein’s monster,” who just happens to be a private investigator! Doesn’t that sound like an amazing combination!? Also, in an interview that Gabe is probably STILL smiling about, we talk to Chris Mowry, the Senior Graphic Artist & writer of Godzilla: Rulers of Earth, from IDW Publishing!! It’s definitely an interview with listening too! He’s in a different part of the industry that we are delighted to get some introspective into, and he’s so much fun! The story about how he got his job, though short, is HILARIOUS!!
Last, but certainly not least, we will be attending Denver Comic Con starting tomorrow (5/23/15)!! We will be recording a LIVE DCC special. It’s all about your experiences at the comic con! Also, while you are speaking to us for the show, you can check out all of the amazing things that Hall of Justice Comics & Collectibles has to offer, as far as actual comic books go! If you are in the area, you definitely won’t want to miss his collection!
