Hi all!! Our 60th episode is SUPER FLUFFY and comes to you from the depths of the nerd cave of Juan’s house!!
Our pick for this recording’s #popcultureclassic is the 1967 movie, In The Heat of the Night. What is supposed to be the first American buddy cop movie, does not disappoint anybody. A good movie that touches base on a lot of different cultural issues, like race, murder, and pregnancy. Definitely worth at least one viewing!
We have TWO amazing interviews this episode!!
The first of the interviews is all about the World of Darkness Documentary! Kevin Lee, the writer and producer, gives us the scoop on all things World of Darkness. He gives us some ideas about the evolution of the game, and how it transformed some horror elements in the horror genre today. He also gives us his take on pop culture, and how sometimes originators don’t get the credit that they deserve! The film will debut on May 11th in Berlin, at a vampire event!! More screening information to come.
Our second interview comes from the adorable Nev Scharrel! She will be voicing the smallest (and best) person in the Despicable Me 3 movie, Agnes. We got the exclusive on her first voice interview, and let me tell you, she does amazing!! For such a young actress, she is already ahead of the game as far as class and ability goes! She gives us the inside scoop on how she got the gig, and what she thinks about her costars. She also tells us about the action movie that she wants to star in next!
