TOTLB S24 The Advocator

We had the awesome opportunity to speak with Rob Andersin, of The Advocator! Created by Rob Andersin, and Travis Gibbs, The Advocator is billed as “comicsodes of indie comic book franchises, giving you more of the characters you love.” It is an “indie comics short.” Listening to, and speaking with Rob, we heard the awesome passion that he has when it comes to helping out other creators. Not only does he care about his story, and his part in this project, but he cares about all of the awesome people who have submitted pieces to this book!!

We do speak to Rob about his career a little, and what he has coming out on his own, but most of the interview is about The Advocator. One REALLY cool thing about this book, is that ANY of the creators can re-create the book as many times as they wish. They aren’t beholden to how many copies were printed/sold the first round, they can always go to reprint, if there is a demand! They’re given a lot of freedom, since this is about the creators as a whole, and not just one person! Creators include; Chuck Pineau (Void Zero), Travis Gibb (Broke Down & 4 Dead Bodies), Joseph Duis (Mary Revised), Frank Martin (Modern Testament), Conner G. Bartel (Grimwood Crossing), and Jamie Primack (Binary Star).
