TOTLB 221 The Vast of Night

Have you ever seen a movie about/in the alien genre, without really featuring any actual aliens? That is basically what we have got going on, in this episode, talking about the Amazon Prime Video movie, The Vast of Night!!

A strange signal is picked up in a small town, by the towns radio DJ. From there, he goes “live” on air, and asks if anybody has heard the strange sound. This goes from caller to caller, where we, the audience run into some interesting people, telling their stories about the noise, and about aliens. The first story is all about a gentleman in the army, and the second story is from an older woman, who lives in the town. Around every corner you think maybe you’re going to see some aliens. That, plus the AMAZING dialogue that happens during the movie, is what keeps you plugged in, and moving forward. Such an elegant movie, so suspenseful without anything jumping out at you around the next corner. This is a beautiful movie, worth the watch!
