It’s pop culture classic time! Every time we sit down and record, we take a trip in our go back machine, to look back at something from our past! Today we’re going back to 1999! Twenty one years in our past, in order to talk about this Antonio Banderas lead, movie! We’re talking about The 13th Warrior!

“A Muslim ambassador exiled from his homeland, Ahmad ibn Fadlan (Antonio Banderas) finds himself in the company of Vikings. While the behavior of the Norsemen initially offends ibn Fadlan, the more cultured outsider grows to respect the tough, if uncouth, warriors. During their travels together, ibn Fadlan and the Vikings get word of an evil presence closing in, and they must fight the frightening and formidable force, which was previously thought to exist only in legend.”

We get to follow Ahmad ibn Fadlan, as he traverses where his new life is taking him. He’s tasked with a mission, to help twelve other men, who eventually become just like family, to take down a common foe. Watch as each side gets to learn about the others culture, language, etc. We are Antonio Baneras fans, but do you think that this is on the higher end of his movies?
