Somehow I missed the boat on Ancestral Recall!! Someone said it had a little bit of a “Quantum Leap” vibe to it, and you know I was all over it at that point! Not only do you get a peak into the past and present of black history, but there is also a kickass science fiction element to this story!
“In the series, Melvin’s ability manifests when his wife is abducted by a mysterious and sinister organization called the Modern Living Corporation. Aided by his young neighbor, Myran, Melvin embarks on an adventure that sends him sliding through time. He learns to harness his power by “recalling” ancestors to help him fight the Modern Living Corporation. “

With Jordan Clark on writing duties, and Atagun Ilhan bringing to life a beautiful world with his art, this is not a limited series that you’ll want to miss!
