We here at Thinking Outside the Longbox have been covering the comic cons that occur in Denver, pretty much since their inception! Starting with Denver Comic Con, all the way to it’s current incarnation, Fan Expo Denver! We’ve been able to experience the show as fans, but for the better part of the last decade, we’ve been experiencing the show as press. We cover every aspect of the show as possible, and have gotten many different interviews out of the comic con! With over 100,000 attendees on a regular basis, this is one of the highlights of our year. Not just because of the content, but honestly because it’s just such a fun convention to reconnect with friends, and have a good time! Well, for 2023, Denver’s Westword has given Fan Expo Denver the honor of “Best Gathering of Geeks!”

Kids 12 and under may compete in the Kid’s Cosplay Contest as well. The Cosplay event schedule will be released in advance of FAN EXPO Denver.
