The Thinking Outside the Longbox Podcast is a Barren Space Production with the purpose of exploring everything that is pop culture!! We will review all of your favorite comic books, movies, and TV shows. Come with us as we explore the TV worlds of Arrow, The Big Bang Theory, Doctor Who, and upcoming shows such as; Gotham, Constantine, and The Flash. We will also explore the Marvel and DC cinematic universes, as well as any other old and new movies that we think deserve some attention!! We will also be taking suggestions based on what our audience wants to hear, and hopefully reading feedback from our listeners, in the future!! Juan started with Barren Space Prodcutions doing research for the Quantum Leap Podcast. Juan was introduced (prior to volunteering for Barren Space) to podcasts, by Kevin Smith’s Jay and Silent Bob get Jobs (now defunct). His addiction to that, Smodcast, Hollywood Babble-On, and Jay and Silent Bob Get Old are what lead him to Barren space to volunteer, with the hopes of one day gaining enough knowledge to record a podcast of his own. Juan now spends much of his travel time listening to podcasts (hardly any music anymore), including the above, as well as The Steve Austin show, The Ross Report, and Tell ‘Em Steve Dave!! The Thinking Outside the Long Box Podcast will give Juan the chance to share his love of pop culture with many other people. Some of Juan’s favorite TV shows, aside from absolutely loving Quantum Leap, include being HUGE WWE fan, Seinfeld, Doctor Who, The Big Bang Theory, Sliders, Suits, and MANY many other shows!! Aside from television, Juan is also a big movie lover, reads a lot of comics, and has an affinity for saltwater fish tanks! Juan hopes that, Gabe (co-host) and his love for everything “nerd” will bring forth many hilarious conversations, not only between the two us, but also with our listeners!!
