It’s pop culture classic time everyone!!! This film has been made into a couple of sequels, and a reboot, but some would argue that this might have been the best one, and shouldn’t have been messed with at all! We’re going back to 2004, to talk about the Guillermo Del Torro & Ron Perlman film, Hellboy!!

“At the end of World War II, the Nazis attempt to open a portal to a paranormal dimension in order to defeat the Allies, but are only able to summon a baby demon who is rescued by Allied forces and dubbed “Hellboy” (Ron Perlman). Sixty years later, Hellboy serves as an agent in the Bureau of Paranormal Research and Defense, where he, aided by Abe Sapien (Doug Jones), a merman with psychic powers, and Liz Sherman (Selma Blair), a woman with pyrokinesis, protects America against dark forces.”

Of course, this is one of the movies, where it’s almost unanimously loved by a lot of comic book lovers. It was one of the very first comic book movies to have existed, and along with things like Blade, helped mold what the superhero world looks like today! Do yourself a favor, and take a road down memory lane, to give this movie one more watch!
