Are you afraid of ghosts? I ain’t afraid of no ghosts!! It’s pop culture classic time, and we’re going all the way back to 1984!! It’s the first of a few sequels, with another one coming out November 2021! We are of course talking about the original Ghostbusters film, starring Bill Murray Dan Akroyd, Harold Ramis, Rick Moranis, and Sigourney Weaver!!

“After the members of a team of scientists (Harold Ramis, Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray) lose their cushy positions at a university in New York City, they decide to become “ghostbusters” to wage a high-tech battle with the supernatural for money. They stumble upon a gateway to another dimension, a doorway that will release evil upon the city. The Ghostbusters must now save New York from complete destruction.”

With such a rock star cast, how could this have been a flop? Do you remember the first time you saw this stellar cast on the big screen? Do you think that this leans a lot more towards it’s comedy side, than it’s more spooky side, and if you do, does that really make a difference at all? Either way, if you have not seen this movie yet, there is something going on in your life, but also, it’s time for you to find that VHS, and give it a big watch!
