TOTLB S80 Bruce Davis

You heard this man’s amazing voice, but never saw his face in the Amazon Prime Video movie, The Vast of Night!! BUT, if you’re anything like the rest of us, that voice is everything that you needed in order to put yourself in his shoes! Of course, we’re talking about actor, Bruce Davis!

Bruce plays a military veteran, by the name of Billy. Billy calls into the radio station where Everett (Jake Horowitz) is hosting a radio show, and we get such an amazing dialogue filled, empty screen. Just listening to Jake and Bruce nail this scene, is enough to make me want to watch this movie all over again. The dialogue is great, but Bruce’s voice, really IS what puts it all together. The cadence, and the tone, plus the story, really are just a trifecta, for such a dialogue heavy scene. I really do think that this movie would not be as good as it was, had Bruce not been a part of the project. THIS is why we had to have him on the show, and can’t wait for you to listen to the interview!
