Today comes with some awesome news for those of us who were fans of the OG Law & Order. Now, there’s nothing bad or wrong with all of the spinoffs SVU, Organized Crime, Criminal Intent, and the list goes on and on, to include a couple that seems to have not gone passed their pilots! BUT for Dick Wolfe, and the fans of Law & Order, the news of it’s 21st season revival, has been incredible!

“There are very few things in life that are literally dreams come true. This is mine,” Wolfe said about the 21st season news. “Law & Order is quite simply one of the most iconic shows in television history, and the idea of continuing its legacy and partnering with Dick on an all-new season is nothing short of exhilarating” said Susan Rovner, Chairman, Entertainment Content, NBCUniversal Television and Streaming, “This is great news for NBC as well as TV fans everywhere.”
“The return of the flagship Law & Order series for a pivotal 21st season is a proud moment for Dick and a proud moment for us, his studio partners,” said Pearlena Igbokwe, Chairman, Universal Studio Group.

Wolfe has a chance to bring back the mothership, while at the same time still leading many other shows through Wolfe Entertainment. The revival will now sit alongside Special Victims Unit, Organized Crime, plus FBI on Tuesday nights, and One Chicago on Wednesdays!

There have been no announcements on the cast, but there are, of course, some stars on the wish list, including cast from the previous season(s). With the biggest on top of the wish list, being Sam Waterson, who played the beloved Jack McCoy! While there is also no news yet, as to when the series might debut, there is a chance that it might be ready for midseason!
