What is going on Longbox listeners!! Episode 80 comes to you from the hallowed halls of Jon’s shop, Hall of Justice Comics & Collectibles!!
Our #popcultureclassic for this show is the 2014, James Franco & Seth Rogan movie, The Interview!! There is a surprising “thumb” in this review!! But, we speak about the movie itself, and how much of a risk it was, or wasn’t, for the movie itself to even come out!!
No interviews for this episode! But, the gang is all here, as we are recording in Jonthan’s comic book shop. We are joined by Doyle (Patreon supporter), Tim, Jason (Patreon Supporter), and Dominic!! We review the last couple of weeks in movies, and comics. We talk a little bit about the Superbowl, and some of the stuff that debuted during or after, including a small review of the newest Cloverfield movie, Cloverfield Paradox.
Remember, you can ALWAYS let us know what you think! totlb-916-300
Hello everyone!! Episode 67 comes to you all the way from sunny California! This is our coverage of San Diego Comic Con!
San Diego Comic Con, is fast becoming just a regular event in our lineup. This is Juan’s second year going, and Jon’s third year going. This is our first year in which we did any kind of recording while we were at the event! This is that coverage!! We talk about going to see Kevin Smith, all the stars that Jon got to meet through the weekend, and what our favorite parts of this years show were. Plus, special appearances by Carissa, who learns a few things about imprints, and Image/Skybound.
We do have one awesome interview during this episode, that we did back home! The weekend of August 25th, is Colorado Springs Comic Con! We will be covering this comic con as members of the press! With that being said, in this episode we speak with Susan Soares, the “Press Relations Manager” at Altered Reality Entertainment, the company putting on the show. Susan tells us about some of the guests, how it all came to be, and how they acquired the naming rights to the building, that the event is now housed in. It is a very cool interview, and we are very excited to be spending the weekend at this event!

Remember, you can ALWAYS let us know what you think! We can only think of so many things to talk about every other week, and would LOVE to get some feedback and ideas from all of you out there who are listening!! TOTLB 061 Free Comic Book Day 2017

totlb-916-300
Hi all!! Our 61st episode comes from Hall of Justice Comics & Collectibles, where we celebrated FREE COMIC BOOK DAY!
Special guest hosts, Dominic “DomPee’s” Pacheco, and Michael “midget porn” Kuyrk, join me for this awesome event, as Gabe was celebrating the birthday of his youngest daughter!
Our pick for this recording’s #popcultureclassic is the 2003 comic book, Superman: Red Son. This book is all about the ramifications, of what would have happened, had Superman landed in Russia, instead of the United States. Is he a bad guy? Does he still want what is best for humanity? It’s a really good read, and we have some pretty cool opinions on the book!
No “official” interviews for this episode, but we did speak to some of the artists that were on hand. Frankie Serna told us about his Denver Comic Con kickoff party, and a small amount of information about his new book with Herb. Herb spoke to us mostly about this book, which is about a soldier who can never “die.” It’s a 3-5 year story, and we are super excited to see how it unfolds!! We also spoke to many of the awesome attendee’s, and our smallest listener, Marika, makes a special appearance!
Remember, you can ALWAYS let us know what you think! We can only think of so many things to talk about every other week, and would LOVE to get some feedback and ideas from all of you out there who are listening!! You can send mp3s and email to our email address. Also, join the conversations on our Facebook Page and Twitter Page. Also, if you have good feedback, please leave it for us on iTunes and Stitcher!! TOTLB 058 The Iron Fisting

totlb-916-300
Hello everyone!! The 58th episode comes straight to you from the hottest comic book store in Colorado, Hall of Justice Comics & Collectibles!
Our pick for this recording’s #popcultureclassic is the 1989 comic book series, The Sandman from Vertigo Comics. It was written by Neil Gaiman and drawn by various different artists through its tenure. The story revolves around Morpheus, the lord of dreams, being captured, and his journey revolving around change. Two of us think VERY highly of the series, and one of us is confused. Who do you think is who?
In honor of our #popcultureclassic pick, we are having ourselves a little give away!! We are giving away TEN volumes of The Sandman!! The only thing that you have to do, in order to try and win this amazing set, is tell us why YOU deserve the set. You do this by making a video, and posting it to our Facebook page, OR leaving us a voicemail at 970-573-6148. Either way, tell us why YOU deserve to win this awesome gift!
No interviews in this episode, but as always, we bring you the latest and the greatest in the world of pop culture! Don’t miss out on the opinions of some of the guys who were at the shop with us, and our always, ridiculous antics!

TOTLB 056 The Passive Readers

totlb-916-300
Hello everyone!! The 56th episode comes straight to you from the hallowed walls of Hall of Justice Comics & Collectibles!
Special guests Michael, and Doyle, join us for most of the show! Michael FINALLY gives us insight into his midget porn obsession, and Doyle gives his opinions on some of the items that we are speaking about!
Our pick for this recording’s #popcultureclassic is the 1987, Richard Donner movie, Lethal Weapon. This Mel Gibson, and Danny Glover movie, is a good refresher on buddy cop movies!! Tells the story of two cops who don’t know each other, suddenly becoming partners! Nudity, action, and someone who is too old for this shit, what a great movie!

No interviews today, just all our normal amazing brand of humor! Listen to Gabe passively/aggressively reading a comic book on the show, and then go find the video on our facebook page!
Remember, you can ALWAYS let us know what you think! TOTLB 051 The Homeless Avengers

totlb-916-300
Our 51st episode comes all the way from beautiful Parker Colorado, at THE Hall of Justice Comics & Collectibles.
With this 51st episode, brings our countdown to tattoo’s! At 100 episodes, we will ALL be getting tattoo’s to commeorate what should be, a 5 year podcast at the time!! No interviews for this show, so, it’s back to our roots! Jon celebrate his 1 year anniversary of owning his comic book store the day before we recorded. So he goes in a little bit, on how that feels, and what it’s like to own your own small business! Gabe and Juan saw Doctor Strange, and ruined it for Jon, who may or may not EVER go see it in the theater. We also talk about Gabe’s LOVE for Emma Rios, and there is MUCHO laughs! We sound like teenage girls during this entire episode!!
For our #PopCultureClassics segment, we talk about The Rocky Horror Picture Show! This is a movie that we get into a little deeper, as Gabe and Jon really enjoy the movie, but Juan does not. We all discuss why, and it seems to get a little deep, which is the perfect conversation for this segment!! This also leads us to a discussion of the new version of this movie as well. Gabe is the only one of the three of us, who has seen in, but it seems to follow the original very closely! We obviously read the feedback from our listeners, which are a mixed back of like/dislike. It’s quite a polarizing movie! Great conversation for this movie, and we were all glad to have watched it again!
That’s one way to help us climb the ranks into podcast glory!! You can ALSO leave us voicemail!!! Call 970-573-6148 and leave us a hilarious message!!!
