If you’ve listened to our show at all, you know that we are BIG fans, of almost anything that has to do with demons, possession, etc. Evil, originally aired on CBS for it’s first season, was one of those series’ that we loved, as a group. It brings a lot of great things to the table, that make it work perfectly in it’s genre. If you don’t remember, or you need a refresher, check out the trailer to the first season!

Dr. Kristen Bouchard (Katja Herbers), David Acosta (Mike Colter), and Ben Shakir (Aasif Mandvi) make an awesome supernatural team! They’re in charge of investigating supernatural occurrences, for the Catholic church. With each of them having their own skillset that they bring to the table, BUT also they’re own doubts, they are able to jump into each case, without fully believing that there is something magical, or supernatural occurring, but also being able to understand that it might be something supernatural, and they just don’t quite understand it.

There were rumors that season 1 would be all that we were getting, but now there are even more rumors, that negotiations are under way, for CBS to move the series to Paramount+. While the series has grown a lot, on the digital side, the same day ratings were never the greatest, or consistent, so this move to Paramount+ might just be the life that Evil needs in order to survive. So far there is no other news, aside from the pending transition. With a stacked cast, including Michael Emerson as the main antagonist, and the cliffhanger ending, we are nothing but hopeful that this series continues, whether it’s at CBS or Paramount+.
