If you’ve been listening to the show for any amount of time, you know by now that we absolutely love anything that has to do with exorcists! The Devil that Wears My Face is no exception to that rule!
“Described as “Face/Off meets the Exorcist,” The Devil That Wears My Face takes place in 1740, as we follow Father Vieri. An exorcist who is an outcast among the rest of his peers in the church, experiencing a crisis of faith as he tries to prove himself to his mentor in the church and escape the sins of his past.”
Without spoiling too much, the story revolves around a priest who is tasked with an exorcism that no other priest has been able to accomplish. During his time with the “devil” the priest maybe gets more than he bargained for, and by the end of the first issue, is put in an position that neither he, nor the Vatican expected after his first encounter with the demon! Alex Cormack’s beautiful/gory art with David’s story are just a great combination! Tomorrow is new comic book day, and this book is worth picking up if it’s not in your pull already!
